THE ANDERSON STORY

The Anderson Auto Group was founded by Dick Anderson, a native of South Dakota, who together with his brother Roger, owned several dealerships in the Mid-West. In 1998, after a vacation in Arizona, Dick decided to sell his interest in the dealerships and form his own auto group based in the Southwest.

Dick started his new venture with the purchase of a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep dealership in Lake Havasu City. After he bought a Toyota store in Kingman in 2009, Dick’s son, Jason, purchased his father’s interest in the business and became the owner and principal of the Anderson Auto Group.

In the following years, Jason added Nissan and Ford dealerships to the Anderson portfolio. The “mom and pop” family philosophy of doing business that Dick fostered has continued through Jason and permeates throughout the Anderson Auto Group organization to this day.

“I am very proud of my father and the business he founded,” said Jason Anderson, owner and principal of the Anderson Auto Group. “I’ve enjoyed the challenge of living up to his example, offering great products and services for our customers and giving back to the communities in which we do business.”

And the communities have given back to Anderson. The auto group was recognized with the 2013 Lake Havasu Chamber Business of the Year award and most recently the Chamber honored the Anderson Auto Group with their 2017 Ethics in Business award.

Anderson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram 

Anderson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram was founded in 1999 when the Anderson Auto Group purchased Corral Chrysler Plymouth Dodge Jeep in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Within two years of Anderson's ownership, sales increased more than 100 percent. As a result, the dealership outgrew its original location and in 2002 moved to its current address on Highway 95.

A four-time recipient of Chrysler Automobiles' Customer First Award for Excellence, Anderson Chrysler provides five unique brands, offering a wide array of new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram Car, SUV and truck options for customers to choose from. Certified Pre-Owned Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles and a vast selection of previously owned vehicles from all makes also are available.

Anderson Toyota

Anderson Toyota was founded in 2001 when the Anderson Auto Group purchased Tri-City Toyota in Kingman, Ariz. Steady sales growth influenced the decision to build a 45,000-square foot facility in Lake Havasu City and in 2009 Anderson Toyota moved to the new location off of Highway 95.

Anderson Toyota is a eleven-time recipient of the Toyota President's Award. The award is given to dealers that excel in all facets of their operations and is recognition for dealerships that continue to go above and beyond at each customer touch point and represent the best of the best. Anderson offers the full line-up of new Toyota trucks, SUVs and cars. Also available are Toyota Certified Pre-Owned vehicles and a variety of previously owned vehicles from all brands.

Anderson Nissan

Anderson Nissan was founded in 2010 when the Anderson Auto Group purchased Copper Canyon Nissan. Located on Highway 95 in Lake Havasu City, Anderson Nissan saw sales increase more than 200 percent in its first year.

Anderson Nissan is a recipient of The Nissan Award of Excellence, the highest award presented by Nissan North America to its dealers. The award recognizes Nissan's top dealers from across the nation who are able to meet high standards of achievement. The dealership offers previously owned vehicles from all makes and Nissan Certified Pre-Owned vehicles in addition to a complete line-up of new Nissan trucks, SUVs and cars.

Anderson Ford in Bullhead City, Arizona Anderson Ford Bullhead City was founded in 2016 when the Anderson Auto Group purchased the Colorado River Ford franchise.

Conveniently located in western Arizona on Highway 95, Anderson Ford Bullhead City offers a wide array of new cars, SUVs and trucks as well as hybrid vehicle options for customers to choose from. Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicles and previously owned vehicles from all manufacturers also are available.

Anderson Ford in Kingman, Arizona

Anderson Ford in Kingman, also founded in 2016 following the Colorado River Ford purchase, welcomes returning and new customers. Offering a wide array of new cars, SUVs and trucks as well as luxury and Roush performance product options for customers to choose from. Also available are Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicles and a wide range of previously owned vehicles.
