2025 Ford Escape Towing Capacity

Having considered the basic specifications for each of the 2025 Ford Escape engine options, let’s now turn our attention to actual performance capabilities, like towing. As a compact SUV, the Ford Escape is a relatively light vehicle with its estimated base curb weight ranging from 3,273 pounds to 3,880 pounds. So even though you can push the Ford Escape towing capacity up to 3,500 pounds with the Class II Trailer Tow Package, anything above that isn’t considered safe.
